Shared Stories
The Shared Stories reader’s theater series engages audiences with timely topics through the voices of the past.
Each script was created using excerpts from historical letters, diaries, reports, documents, and newspaper articles. Discussion questions are included to lead your group in conversation following the script reading.
The stories are written as reader’s theater scripts intended for use by libraries, museums, art centers, senior centers, and high school or college classrooms. Shared Stories scripts are available for free download. Historians have reviewed all scripts.
