Join Humanities Kansas for an online interview with Dr. Kim Warren exploring her Big Idea about African American citizenship and voting. Warren's presentation coincides with The Art of Voting, a pop-up exhibition about voting rights in the 150 years since the 15th Amendment that is now on display in six communities. Dr. Warren is Associate Dean of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, School of Social Welfare and Associate Professor of History, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Kansas. Dr. Valerie Mendoza of Washburn University will conduct the interview.
